Call to Worship

Day 7 – Call to Worship: The Center of All Things

Scripture:

“Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.”
— Psalm 95:6 (HCSB)

Devotional Thought:

Across the galaxies we’ve traveled this week, we’ve seen anchors hold fast, light overcome darkness, and the Eternal Word stand unshaken. Every discovery, every question, every revelation points to one singular truth—it all revolves around Him.

The universe declares the glory of God, yet worship is more than observation—it’s participation. When we bow in awe, sing with joy, and gather with others in His name, we join the grand symphony of creation. Every heartbeat and star pulse is an echo of that eternal song: “Worthy is the Lamb.”

You were never meant to wander the cosmos alone. The same God who spoke galaxies into being calls you into community—into the fellowship of believers who together reflect His light to a searching world. Worship centers the soul, refuels the mission, and realigns our hearts to the Captain of salvation.

This is where exploration ends and adoration begins.
This is the center of all things.

Field Notes:

All creation leads to praise. The journey that began among the stars concludes before the throne of the Creator. Worship is both destination and launch pad.

  1. The Church is your crew; faith was never a solo mission.
  2. Worship realigns your orbit around the One true Center.
  3. Every song sung on Earth echoes in eternity.

End Transmission.

The voyage continues but every journey begins again at His feet.

🚀 Next Assignment:

Set your course for community. Attend a local church this week—worship, listen, connect, and serve. Bring your wonder, your questions, and your gratitude before the One who holds every star in place.

Use the SBC Church Finder (link below) to locate a congregation near you and make this next step part of your mission.

Take a moment to do 2 of the following:

1. Find a local church here.

2. Read Psalms 19 aloud

3. Play a worship song

4. Pray this simple prayer:

“Jesus, I praise You as the Maker of the stars and the Anchor of my soul.
You are eternal, victorious, and worthy of all glory.
Receive my worship today, not from a temple, but from a heart that’s seen Your Light.”

Final Directive:

Engage in worship. Stay connected. Live sent.
