Voices in the Void: A 7-Day Sci-Fi Devotional for Christians

Voices in the Void is not just a devotional, it’s a spiritual adventure through galaxies, timelines, and soul-deep truths. The Galactic Deacon masterfully fuses beloved sci-fi and fantasy franchises with the eternal relevance of Scripture, creating a bold, theologically grounded journey that speaks to both the heart and the imagination.

Love it! A 6th Day review & 7th Call to action.

Voices in the Void is the kind of devotional I’ve been hoping for—biblically grounded, culturally aware, and actually usable. Wayne connects familiar franchises to Scripture without forcing it, then lands the plane with reflection questions and prayer that make it ideal for students, small groups, or personal time with the Lord.

Short, powerful, and practical. The prayers and questions helped me apply it right away.

Finally—devotionals that speak my language.

I didn’t expect a 7-day devotional to hit this hard. The Mandalorian ‘This is the Way’ entry and the Black Mirror reflection on identity were exactly what I needed. It’s thoughtful, easy to follow, and it helped me see how the themes that move me in sci‑fi point back to the truth that anchors me in Christ.

This devotional is short enough to finish, but deep enough to linger. Each day gave my group something concrete to discuss—especially the ‘Armor of God’ and ‘Hope in suffering’ entries. If you’re trying to help people connect faith to real life (and the stories they already love), Voices in the Void is a great tool.

Fresh, faithful, and easy to read. I’ll be coming back to these reflections.

Bold, creative, and spiritually rich. Bridges Science Fiction and Biblical truth. The daily devotional is short but reflective. I love the fact that he adds a post review, a call to worship and a “Mission Log” at the end. This balanced me to look deeper and find God in life.
